Today that craft works for the organisations putting AI to work in Luxembourg and beyond: in partnership with RMT Labs I advise on the AI Act compliance of a live high-risk AI system, I deliver open-enrolment AI workshops at the Digital Learning Hub in Belval, and the firm is an accredited training provider in Luxembourg.

Two companies shipped AI web apps in 2026. Both had brilliant engineers and convincing salespeople. Only one of those apps is still live.
The difference was never talent. It was foundations. “Ship now, govern later” feels like speed — it is building higher on a foundation nobody has inspected. It holds, right up until someone tests it: a regulator, a journalist, your biggest prospect's procurement team.
And the people you sell to already know. Enterprise procurement has lawyers on speed-dial. “Fully GDPR compliant” with nothing behind it doesn't read as reassurance — it reads as a confession. Your governance story is either ready, or it's improvised inside the deal. I've watched a polished AI product get shut down — not because the technology failed, but because nobody had asked, before building, whether it could lawfully be sold. Talented engineers. Months of work. Gone.
The EU's AI rulebook has been phasing in since February 2025; its enforcement machinery and penalties — up to seven per cent of worldwide turnover — arrive from August 2026. The high-risk timeline was deferred and settled by the Digital Omnibus, adopted 29-06-2026. The obligations don't shrink, and your buyers aren't waiting for application dates.
There is a third way. Agree the safety protocol — the legal floor, the risk appetite, the red lines — on day one, and everything else stays negotiable: destination, pace, route. Governance built into your people isn't what slows you down. It's the licence to move fast.
